Pick up and drop off an application on Tuesday evenings at Carlinville Fire Department , 317 West 2nd South St., Carlinville, IL 62626
All Applications must be received by 6pm on Monday June 14, 2021
All applicants must be 18 years of age, must possess a valid State of Illinois driver's license, and a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) at time of application submission
All new recruits must obtain a State of Illinois Fire Marshal's Office Basic FF Certification and Illinois Department of Public Health First Responder License within the first year from start date.
New recruits with the proof of firefighter certification from any state equal to or above the level of State of Illinois Basic Firefighter Certification will be evaluated for approval and acceptance by CFPD.
New recruits with proof of State of Illinois emergency medical license (eligible to practice emergency medicine in the state of Illinois) for IDPH First Responder License or greater care license will be evaluated for approval and acceptance by CFPD
Training for all firefighter and emergency medical license will be arranged and offered in house by CFPD during new recruit probationary year. Certifications and Licenses will be obtained through the State of Illinois.
